OVERVIEW
Front Five Building Services were appointed to undertake the new central energy plant installation to the 103-bedroom student accommodation complex in Liverpool.
Scope
The new system is situated in a very tight plant space within the lower floors of the newly built accommodation building, and we had to operate around existing clients whilst still meeting a challenging timescale to ensure the systems are upgraded without downtime. This was an ideal opportunity for our client to benefit from our BIM 3D design capabilities and create solutions prior to our team setting foot on site.
Objective
The works that were carried out provide an eco-friendly solution for the entire building, including an upgraded BMS system which assists in reducing the carbon footprint as well as long term reduction of energy to the facility.
