Project 100 reaches completion

Project 100 has officially reached completion, marking the delivery of one of the North West's largest and most ambitious logistics infrastructure projects.

What began as a blank canvas is now a fully operational 33,000m² logistics and manufacturing facility, designed to support the logistics network of a leading multinational frozen food manufacturer and capable of handling more than 100 million meals every year.

Working alongside DDK Projects Limited, ISD Solutions, BCH Ltd and Star Refrigeration, Front Five delivered the full mechanical and electrical installation across the facility, supporting the project from the earliest stages through to completion.

Our delivery

Our scope covered every part of the building, including power and lighting distribution, refrigeration support infrastructure, ventilation systems, steam and compressed air services, and specialist mechanical and electrical installations across both chilled and frozen storage environments.

Throughout the project, our team installed more than 10 kilometres of cable, fitted 1,100 lighting fixtures and supported the development of six apprentices. These milestones reflect not only the scale of the project, but also the expertise and commitment of everyone involved in its successful delivery.

Working in close collaboration with the wider project team, we've helped deliver a modern, energy-efficient facility built to support high-volume food distribution for years to come.

A milestone project

Project 100 represents a significant investment in the UK's food supply chain infrastructure. More than just a new logistics hub, it provides the resilience, efficiency and capacity needed to move products safely and reliably at scale, supporting the distribution of more than 100 million meals every year.

Beyond the figures and milestones, Project 100 demonstrates the value of bringing the right people together from the outset and maintaining a shared focus throughout delivery. Through close collaboration between the client, delivery partners and specialist contractors, a complex vision has been transformed into a landmark facility that will play an important role in the UK's food distribution network for years to come.

Completing a project of this scale is a fantastic achievement. We'd like to thank everyone involved throughout the project, as well as every member of the Front Five team whose hard work, expertise and collaboration helped bring Project 100 successfully to completion.
