Oldham's major new distribution hub, covering 33,000 square metres, is nearing completion.

One of the most ambitious logistics infrastructure projects in the North West of England is approaching its final stages - and Front Five has been at the heart of it from day one.

About the Project

Project 100 is a major new distribution hub spanning 33,000 square metres in Oldham, purpose-built to support the logistics network of a leading multinational frozen food manufacturer. Designed to handle more than 100 million meals every year, the facility represents a significant investment in the UK food supply chain infrastructure.

Front Five have worked from the early stages of the project, delivering the full mechanical and electrical (M&E) installation across the facility, including power, ventilation, and specialist services for chilled and frozen environments.

The Delivery

Since work commenced in June 2025, our team has achieved a significant volume of work across the site:

  • Installed over 10km of cable across the facility
  • Fitted 1,100 lighting fixtures throughout the site
  • Delivered power, ventilation, steam, compressed air, and other specialist services across chilled and frozen production environments.
  • Supported and trained 6 apprentices as part of the project delivery

Projects of this complexity demand commitment at every level. As we now enter its final stages, we want to extend a huge well done to everyone involved and thank our team and delivery partners.
